If I block a friend on Nintendo Switch, will they still be my friend when I unblock them? I know this sounds harsh but sometimes I just want to play certain games by myself, but often when I get on my friend sees that I'm on and will text me wanting play co-op. Sometimes I just want to play by myself, I just want to do single player mode! Is there a way to hide from your friends on Switch?

 I have the exact same problem as you man. Sucks to get pestered to play online when you just want to chill by yourself for a minute and you also dont want to tell the other person to fuck off the above seems to be outdated. Go to your page (should be the icon on the top left of your Home Screen), go to user settings, scroll to friend settings, and change your online display status --- I feel like Ratatouille when I'm whipping that cheddar ... the english language has the word "no" you can use to deny people what they want. You can use it to reply to a friend asking to play with you "No I don't want to right now I don't feel like it". Really useful.
