Can you drive a manual?

Let's see what CE can do.

EDIT: By "can drive" I mean like... well enough that you could use one as your regular car if you had to.

this question needs a qualifier TC, because anyone can drive a manual, but not everyone can drive one WELL.

Yes, my current car is a manual. I think I can drive it sufficiently enough. No grinds or anything.

Edited original post to clarify. It is up to the reader to decide on exactly how to interpret that.

Same. I learnt to drive in auto, but had to drive a manual in an "emergency" once (the emergency was no one else being sober enough to drive lmao). I did already know the theory behind it, just had no hands-on experience, which helped. Anyway, fast forward to when I got my next car and I ended up with a manual somehow, and yeah, took me a few days to get used to but I'm glad I did. I know with modern cars it's less of a big deal, but with cars the age that I usually buy, manuals are so much better on fuel. Not exaggerating - between how my car is in and of itself, and how I drive it, I'm getting better fuel mileage than I would in a goddamn hybrid.

I think I took my drivers test in a manual when I was 16.

No and never got the weird superiority complex that some people who can have. It's like bragging you manually hand crank an engine every time.
