I do not make it sound that way because I did not say that. If your friend has a daughter and you continue to know that friend and his family for the next 20 years and then his 20 year old daughter wants to fuck you, it doesn't mean that you groomed her. You, and most others in this topic, are essentially arguing that it's not possible to have any kind of personal relationship with a minor without grooming them.

The girls family should have noticed and taken action to keep her away from him when she was under 18 and he was being to friendly.

Depending on how long he was her coach, the messages may have been relevant or innocuous enough to not warrant undue suspicion.

Unless you're advocating that all of a high schoolers back and forth messages be reviewed routinely by a parent

I do not know many people who stayed in active contact with their coach beyond the season and training.

This sounds like she kept in contact as did he once he was not her coach.

This sounds like she kept in contact as did he once he was not her coach.

Depending on how good of a student she was, she may have shown promise and he just occasionally checked in to see how her Tennis skills were progressing and how school was going.

Why is it so hard to believe that maybe she had a crush on him and then threw herself at him when she became of age? I'm not saying that's what happened but most people sure are dismissive of the very realistic idea.

I wouldn't call it very realistic but it isn't unheard of for a young teen to grow attached to a coach or father figure, especially if their father figure is absent (not even full time just not home all the time). Then she played her shot.

It's just as plausible as him waiting and taking his opportunity.

Now you could say as the fully grown adult in the relationship, he should know how it looks and axe the relationship, but neither seems willing.

I don't see what the issue is.

He was attracted to her as a grown ass woman, not when she was 13. Also, dude is legitimately above average looking for a guy almost 50: damn good shape, great hairline, good facial features, and could probably easily date younger women outside of her. Meanwhile, the girl is straight up below average looking outside of having a good body, which is pretty standard for almost any college age chick.

I dare say the dude could probably do better. most men her age are massive losers, so I don't necessarily think she could do the same. She would probably be dating young losers that smoke weed in some hand me down coach covered in food stains in a small apt that smells of mold and beer.

So this attraction doesn't seem unlegit at all. He probably likes her because she has a way better physique than women his age. She probably likes him because he's an old Chad and probably better looking than the men her age she could date, and probably better in the sack, much better finances, and maturity too.
