Got the Pfizer shot yesterday, arm was sore but not bad overall. Gotta wait 4 weeks until I get the second dose.

I had to drive an hour because nothing near me had openings. Found an opening an hour outside L.A. Booked a Friday appointment on a Wednesday and a hotel for the weekend in case of side effects (none).

The earliest opening may not be close. 1 hour was my upper limit.

Which state?
Not the US... Ontario, Canada

There have been huge spikes of cases so they're trying to get 40% of adults vaccinated before the lockdown is over in 3-4 weeks

Ah OK. Is the government doing it, private sector, or both? FWIW I allowed myself 2 days on the back end in case of side effects but fortunately had none. I got Pfizer.

The government is rolling it out I think, originally the military was handling it but I'm not sure who is doing the logistics for the provincial roll out right now. It's frustrating because before this they were saying the general population would have to wait until August... But apparently now everything is good to go.

Production has apparently been really ramped up. Good luck!
