It makes me feel guilty for some reason, like I haven't been a good friend and now I want something from them. I don't know if it's actually a bad thing to do though or if people even mind. Probably just my horrible social anxiety!

It means "does anyone else", it's a pretty common abbreviation. I don't really like it but I ran out of characters to write it out fully on this 1990s ass website

Either way they'll exist the same capacity regardless so I just send it anyway.

I feel somewhat like everyone is just bad at communicating, we're like the loneliest generation. Maybe people who would otherwise want to continue being friends with me just don't know how to text either. Modern communication is weird cause you aren't really expected to call people, you just message each other, maybe do a video chat once in a while, but it's not nearly as much as people used to call. I'm a lot better at talking to people verbally. Some people can message each other every day about random bullshit, but not me, I never know what to say. It's always just like hey what's up, you still working at X job, oh cool, how's that going for you, alright well good talk.

I don't have Facebook either. I never found it to help keep in touch with people anyway but I think it conditions everyone to view staying in touch as a very passive activity.

I'm going to text an old friend right now.
