Maybe I'm more out of the loop than I thought, but SATA SSDs are still very popular as secondary drives, afaik. But that's for productivity. As far as gaming goes, Intel appears to have taken the lead again with 11th generation, but the lead is so narrow compared to just 2 years ago.
