That's why I made sure all the important bits were branded. The only iBUYPOWER stuff in it is the cooling.

And yeah the sound card was like $40 extra.

I currently have a 64gig ssd for my os and I regret it. It just got too full with system and temp files and such from over the years and sits at like 1% free, even with regular cleaning :(
But yeah, second hdd for sure!

What the fuck is a sound card

Many audiophiles recommend either an internal or external sound card to level out the sound and get the most out of your speakers and headphones.
The "Mojo DAC" is between $500-$600 which is an external sound card.
I'm not an audiophile, but I'd like to have something a bit better than the default onboard sound card.

Holy fucking shit. I even generally advise people to avoid 128GB, let alone 64GB. Although 128GB as part of a small SSD + big HDD setup is generally okay for advanced users.

Take it from someone who was gifted a Cyberpower computer a couple years ago. Your probably going to want to replace that cpu cooler. I'd grabbed a cooler masterliquid triple radiator when I had the chance. You don't necessarily need that one, but anything is better than the stock cpu fan that comes with those prebuilts.

NVMe is basically PCIe SSD, but using the M.2 connector instead of an actual PCIe slot.

Basically any SSD in a modern PC is probably going to be NVMe.

So was my Cyberpower. Didn't help jack shit. My computer room shot up 6 degrees every time I tried to play Borderlands 3. How much of that was the cpu cooler, how much of that was the garbage case it came in, whose to say. How much I have spent is up for debate because I have bought and sold a lot of parts for losses, but also sold a lot of parts for profits.

I think if you look at the prices of the parts I truly still have and forget sold ones, i am out around $2500. But I have also gotten over $2k profit, so if you look at it that way i spent maybe $500.

Anyway, I have 5900x, 980 pro, 970 evo plus, nr200 case, sf750 psu, 32gb 3600 bdie, b550 mobo (didnt need x570 and now no chipset fan to annoy me). I have a current gen nvidia gpu and current gen amd gpu, justd eciding which to keep.

I am trying to decide whether to build mine next week or give myself one more month to try to get a 3080 or a 3070 ti if it really comes out next month...
