That said, in the last two generations, ryzen is simply flat out the better option. I really hate to say it, too, but Intel is so far behind right now it's almost comical. But that's for productivity. As far as gaming goes, Intel appears to have taken the lead again with 11th generation, but the lead is so narrow compared to just 2 years ago.
