isn't it, though? i'm not big on action flicks but John Wick grabbed my attention immediately and didn't let go until it was over.

the tone / atmosphere it on point. the action kick ass. the lore / world building is top notch.

5/5 flick for sure. def watch 2 and 3 since you liked 1.

The first was pretty good. Second was so bad I couldn't finish. Action was decent but they totally fucked it up with too much emphasis on the quirks of the hitman world. Cringe-worthy really. No desire to watch more.

I actually own 1 and 2 on Blu-Ray (remember those?) but honestly the dog part of 1 is the only thing stopping me from watching it.

The 1st one is great. The only part I disliked is the clich scene where he get caught , and they try to kill him in the slowest way ever, allowing him to escape.

I didn't like the 2nd one at all, I believe it ruined his character, and made him look unprofessional, despite the higher kill count.
