Judgement calls aren't challengeable in-game, but official protests are based on umpires incorrectly applying a rule and not necessarily on an umpire making an incorrect call. The umpire in this case fucked up twice, once in not realizing that Conforto leaned in, and again because he misapplied the rule of how strike are supposed to supercede hit-by-pitches. in other news, i miss the cubs and i'm going to drive the 4-5 hours from philly to pittsburgh and catch my first game at pnc on sunday.
