I am looking into green projects now.

Yeah Elon is not at all an environmentally friendly human being. He's doing what he's doing to pump doge because he sees the potential for a huge return in pumping a coin that's popular and low in price per coin

I think Elon is one of the few big CEOs who really understands the tech and use cases.

However, Elon is not anyone's friend. He's eccentric and treats the world like it's his playground.

His projects can be interesting, and yeah, stuff like electric cars are good ideas. I'm with you, and doubtful his motivations are completely altruistic.

Electric cars are great and all but those mining operations for tesla batteries are actually horribly environmentally destructive. Anytime he's pretending to care, I know he's full of shit. It's all about his money. It actually makes him even more of a shithead. He knows what he's doing but is treating the world like his own personal laboratory

Not only environmentally destructive, but the mines also exploit local populations. Africa is once again being reaped of it's resources, while the West gets the rewards.

SHIBA INU coin is a scam. The developers sent half the supply to a lead crypto developer so that they could make it "rug proof" and gain his favor. He donated it all to India because he didn't want any part of it.

The Shiba devs marketed it as a charity drive. The whole thing is pathetic. Don't buy Shiba Inu. It's literally a pyramid scheme.

I think this dip the first sign of the next bear cycle. It's following the timing of previous cycles as well, and in the right order. It always goes BTC Rally (when it shot up to 50K +), Alt Coin Season (BTC drops slightly and/or is outperformed by smaller coins), bear cycle (hype dies down, and prices drop)

Considering Elon turned heel on BTC, the ETH difficulty bomb is set to detonate this summer, and although great strides have been made...scaling and high fees are still very much an issue. I think we enter a full bear cycle at some point this summer until ETH 2.0 or some other major update is released.

I think Polygon is one of the best scaling solutions to Ethereum out right now.

After all the environmental criticism, including from Elon, people are investing in greener solutions. Another big criticism is scaling. You may have noticed huge transaction fees or long transaction times. Polygon uses PoS algorithm to connect the power of the Ethereum chain with sovereign chains. This is very beneficial to developers as it give you more flexibility in your tools and is easier to deploy.

Polygon as has an advisory board that included members of the Ethereum Foundation and ETHub, and is very much aligned as one of the premiere scaling solutions in preparation for ETH 2.0. It also seems to be positioning itself as the best options to connect to the ETH chain.

The market seems pretty hectic right now, and I don't know if Polygon is going to be effected by it. It's resilient, but might go down. I definitely would not sell

Finally my SNX is going back up. I have been waiting and hoping for a while. I was really close to converting it all recently.

I think it has a minor dip. I wouldn't buy today as it hit ATH and is already coming down from that. that's a tough one though.

But seriously who told you that? This is the wild west. Coinbase is not going to protect you against hacks because they can't verify that you didn't hack yourself. They can't undo transactions, they would have to foot the bill themselves after you refused to enable 2fA after the 30 times they asked you to.

And they legally are not obliged to do so. Even "official established and competent" insurance companies will try to scam you out of your claims with their lawyer talk.

They only "insure" physical cash though, and only if it so happens to be held in their bank, and they're not using your funds for their own investments, and who knows how to even make a claim? It's just a side effect of how they're holding your money occasionally.

If this was the bubble bursting again and it's settling down now then I can rest assured that the next explosion will happen eventually and everything will go even higher. Depends on how hard governments continue to regulate crypto though too

I agree. Butertin has a take I really like. Every crypto boom is a result of a new tech in the sector taking off. Then subsequently, after to a few months, it's realized the technology isn't there yet to support the whole ecosystem at scale, and with reasonable fees.

It happened in 2016 when Smart Contracts came to ETH, and PoS came out with the "ETH Killers" (ADA, EOS, ect...)

Now it's happening with DeFi and NFT's.

I have a couple ideas around which tech will cause the next boom. They almost always occur shortly after the BTC halving (though that may not be the case with ETH 2.0 on the horizon)

I think the next boom is led by Subgraphs, Oracles, and Web3 finally being viable, and it's not $50 to do anything on ETH chain.
