He's not granted eternal life because he passed the seal.~~ But it would make sense for him to have an unnatural longevity to him. The two knights in the background story died of extreme old age. In all honesty though, they should make a movie about Indy's illegitimate daughter. Steven Spielberg said he wanted the next Indiana Jones to be a woman. Indy's undoubtedly a one night stand kinda guy. Just have it revealed that he had a daughter in Africa and that her mother named her after her father. It's better than doing a reboot.
