i mean you paid to see a movie at the theater but you walked out cause the movie was so bad

Punisher: War Zone, it was just stupid and gross. Talked to a manager about it and they were cool and let me swap my ticket for a different movie. Watched Quantum of Solace which I thought was okay.

That movie was so awful. I'm getting anxiety just talking about it.

It was almost as if some out of touch granpda heard kids these days like scifi movies about space aliens and this is what he came up with.

Poor acting, stupid story, honestly Rihanna's acting was about the only good thing in that film. But ultimately was a massive borefest.

I remembered that years ago my wife and I were seeing that CG fantasy movie about owls called like The Guardians of Naboo or something. Anyways it was so boring and there wasnt anyone else really there so we started fooling around and then left so we could go home and bang.

Dont know what happened to those owls, dont especially care.

One time when we realized we bought a ticket for a movie we had already seen. They let us swap to a diff movie.

I came close years ago while watching The Seeker. Almost walked out like four times from how mind-shatteringly bad it was.

The worst part there was, I didn't even pay for the ticket. I was watching the movie for free, so I just stayed. If I'd paid I'd almost certainly have asked for my money back.

I've never done that. I have a thing against starting and stopping in the middle of a movie, book, story, etc.

not because the movie was bad, but when seeing a movie at an extremely rundown theatre in my neighbourhood the projector had a seizure as the movie was starting and they couldn't fix it so we got refunds and left.

the theatre closed down not long after, though I vaguely recall it was a fire that ended it

I've never actually walked out, but the closest I ever came was Return of the King, when Elrond shows up to present Anduril to Aragorn and basically say "It's time to be a man, bitch". They'd already changed so much - needlessly IMO - and all you could initially see was someone sitting there in a cloak. I thought "If that's Arwen, I'm out."

Luckily - or unluckily - it wasn't.
