Pulsar, apparently, but it depends on the metatags being right.
Also it does gapless play, which is very important for concept albums.

The in the top-right corner on the "albums" screen, but I think all you can do is sort.

hmm cool i rarely play by album usually by artist, genre, or just shuffle all so i never noticed it there, but yeah it just appears to sort albums. I'd like to be able to break genres of music down by year or easily play/select music from a certain year :(

Does anything do that? Seems like it'd be a cool feature, but also require correct tags for everything. Best I can think of is making your own playlist and hand picking everything.

yeah it seems like it would be pretty awesome and not really that hard to program (assuming your meta data for the years was correct) so its just so surprising that no one seems to have this as a feature
