While the internet has created many labels in recent years, some I like some I don't. I always found this one kind of amusing and a non offensive way to ask a cis man if he is open to experiences with trans women.

To me the most important thing has always been how comfortable I feel around a person having a conversation and just spending time with them. In another world where I wasnt married to my wife I think I could have become intimate with anyone that I felt was kind and I could connect with personally.

That's a fucking weird way to suggest it. Is it supposed to be a pun or something? Because it's a stupid term to just pull from the air and something that very easily lends itself to confusion because there's already a conventional idea around the term with a completely connotation.

I wasn't suggesting you made it up, I was saying it was weird for ANYBODY to make it up. However, the image you're showing doesn't specify any context and that same kind of meme has been used in the past to denote other kinds of behavior, habits, etc, (and iirc the first time I saw a variant of that meme it was used in reference to flat-chested anime women) which makes it even stupider if people are trying to make this a thing.

In which case it's a rather silly meme appropriation given the older usages. (As noted in my edit.)

EDIT: Apparently if it means what you claim, it's not in that widespread of a use for that meaning

And the Urban Dictionary definition (which I don't think I can link to) references the more stereotypical anime interpretation. More importantly, all of the top definitions -- many of which specifically reference your meme image -- suggest something *other* than your claim, and I have yet to see a citation for it meaning what you think it does.

Its not that specific. It's an anime/manga thing where a story has a cliche "pervert" type male character. Sanji from One Piece is a big example. Or Master Roshi from DB. They are the "men of culture" in their series. Its generally lusting after women but more specifically certain body parts. Liking big boobs or a big ass makes you a man of culture. So a lot of guys take this trope and apply it irl.

Do you even recall yourself that you first saw the meme in reference to a "flat-chested anime girl". Do you not see the connection? The meme culture around it certainly isn't perfect, as many of them still use traps and other terms that are derogatory, but this was just a humorous little part of that culture I found. I'm aware it's not exclusive, the best memes fit many situations.

However, look around and see how many posters knew what I was talking about without having to explain it.

I dont know. Maybe femboy is an acceptable term, it just strikes me as a word just associated with online porn but I could be wrong

I edited my previous post as well, but as you can see from most posters, the term generally understood to mean something other than what you've claimed even though some have seemingly acknowledged that your interpretation could fit under the much broader umbrella (which, given that you would need an *exclusive* interpretation for it to work in conversation, still counts against it)

Calling all flat-chested girls "traps" is unimaginably offensive and derogatory. And there are all sorts of additional problematic connotations on top of that, regarding both cisgendered and transgendered individuals.

Gaslighting huh Zeus? I didn't call anyone a trap. I said that a person who would find the androgyny of a flat chested woman attractive, may also find a trans woman attractive. It's not a large bridge to cross considering many trans woman are in fact, flat chested women.

I have no issue with femboy if they are not women.

That's what gives me a little of the trans-weariness that I feel bad about... 'cuz I'm a weiner-phobe. Like, I see any and I'm grossed out... even my own some times. (which is weirder 'cuz I think dildos are hilarious)

I feel based on this comment you would be much more open to a trans woman who surgically corrected her body.

Outside porn femboy gets used less than sissy in my experience. You'd think the latter is an insult but I see many guys referring to themselves as such. What's more is that it's mainly straight guys that use that sissy term. Basically it's a feminine or androgynous straight man that likes submission to women. Gay men use the term fem but not femboy usually.

Sissy is a versatile label for sure. I always kind of thought of it as it's own thing, but it does have crossover with gay men and femboys

That's interesting to know. I have met with others who had reservations, and I found a way to keep it tucked away when needed. It's not something I like showing off unless I am sure the person is totally into it.

Btw I answered yes on the poll but I like trans men sexually instead of trans women. It's not a genital thing for me. I see trans women as women period. As such its not a turn on since the image they present is female regardless of parts. I like guys and that includes guys with pussies.

Yes, it is mostly used by chasers. On one hand, chasers are super gross. On the other, I think having some sort of label or meme to destigmatize things is helpful long term. idk if it would even do that, so idk.
