Frankly, I think it's more of the latter than the former. It's definitely something my male colleagues experience as well. Assuming we're specifically talking about covid-19. Obviously as far as generalized medical stuff goes, yes there's a lot of sexism.

Yeah I work with a guy who still says it's inflated. At this point it's been over a year. The damage has been done, just get over it. Whether its inflated or not, I don't believe it is, to spend all this energy on something that you can do little about is crazy to me. And don't get me started on the fact that you're shitting on people who's family members passed because of this and you're trying to downplay it.

Bu some people with existing health problems have caught and died of COVID, so that means it's not actually dangerous to anyone else! Real diseases aren't more dangerous to people who already are unhealthy, right?
