i can never decide what's actually happening in that episode. do we ever actually see Guinan? or only Crusher's bubble version of her (who may or may not actually have any special abilities)?

So it turned out Crusher was trapped in a bubble universe that was just a construction of her thoughts, which itself was shaped when her acquaintance Quaice talked about being old and all his friends disappearing. So the people Crusher interacted with didn't really exist. Guinan doesn't show up in the episode, maybe because they couldn't get Whoopie Goldberg on that day, but it actually might've added to the mystery and confusion if she was around and didn't sense anything.

she wasn't? i'm not much of a fan of that one, so it's been a while since i've seen it. but i thought she was. oh well, as you said, she wouldn't have really helped much more than any of the other Head Characters.

The universe is a spheroid region, 705 meters in diameter.

One of my favorite Trek lines

Future Imperfect is a fucking PHENOMENAL episode. Absolutely disgusting what they did to Riker.

Data's Day was such a charming episode. I loved Brent Spiner's voice over.

I like the extra attention O'Brian is getting. Before he's always been like, the one reoccurring character without significant development time.

I think when one has been angry for a very long time, one gets used to it. And it becomes comfortable, like old leather. And, finally, it becomes so familiar that one can't ever remember feeling any other way.

There is another episode where a woman working in Engineering under Geordi flirts with him, and Geordi complains that it makes him uncomfortable

Geordi isn't really in an incel. The writers thought it would make a good story if he was attracted to Dr. Leah Brahms

I think the first part of this episode is actually pretty good. It's a decent story about Geordi's expectations not meeting the reality and him having to deal with that. It sails completely off the cliff when she finds the program, though, because the episode takes Geordi's side holy shit what the fuck

"Night Terrors"

In the shot where Troi wakes up from the nightmare she's wearing a very see through dress and in the wider camera shot from the ceiling of the bedroom you can really see her boobies >_>

Riker takes off the cover. Switch to a shot of legs wrapped in snakes. Switch back to Riker's face as he shoots out of bed.

I wonder if Jonathan Frakes used a body double for that scene? It is shot evasively enough to be possible. Then again the removal of the blanket looks like really consistent motion in both shots.

Wait, those probably aren't even real snakes lol. The sound mixing and editing of this scene is really, really good. This episode is just a treat.

that Dr Crusher scene was creepy but I would've liked to see them switch one of the bodies with Wil Wheaton

I always thought Night Terrors wasn't nearly as scary as an episode with a title like that should be

I wonder what it was like to play Data. Spiner is a human acting like an android trying to be human.

That is only a third of it. Spiner played a second android named Lore. Lore has a different personality than Data

The final Spiner role was Dr. Noonian Soong. There is even an episode in which Spiner plays all three roles interacting with each other
