I don't regret the advice I got in this topic previously. I got the game and I've put about 60 hours into it and I absolutely love it, most fun I've had in MH since me and my brother played through MH3U together.

Ay, went on a kamura points run in expedition last night because I was getting low...

The upsurges kept switching between mining outcrops and local items for an hour and a half straight, just one and then back again. So I kept going, just kinda zoned out.

Now I have 260k pts and 4.6 million zenny.

Well, I wanted to make a complete set of every decoration, as eventually I had farmed that in world and it was really nice for whenever I wanted to try out a new weapon or build. A bit of switching around and boom, top of the line set.

But the shit drop rates for aquaglow jewels is making that waaay harder than it should be. The highest is a 20% chance of getting ONE for a HR hub quest. The fastest way probably a 12% chance from the HR hub capture Azuros quest.

That shit is too annoying imo, maybe just make armor sets I guess? Until we get some event quests with jewel drops that is.

I can finally get back to MH tomorrow. Broke away from it to help with the wait for the unlock patch and finally finish another game, which I did today. Surprised they haven't announced another monster for it yet, or a release date.

So what are our best charms so far? I got myself a Weakness Exploit 2, though it only has a level one slot and a superfluous Water Attack 1.

Weakness Exploit 2 with no slots and some worthless other skill
Quick sheathe 3 with a 2 slot and Fire Attack 1
Quick Sheathe 2 with 1-1-1
Crit Boost 1/Wide-Range 2 with a 2 slot
Attack Boost 2 with a 2 slot
Razor Sharp 2 1-1
Divine Blessing 2/Crit Eye 1

But I really just use the first two depending on weapon/build <_<

Ooh, that one sounds pretty fun for LS. With Narga LS you can get Attack Boost 7, Weakness Exploit 3, Quick Sheath 3, and Critical Boost 2. I'm jelly. I've also yet to see any Crit Boost on a charm, despite rolling over 300 so far.

Well, in order to go with the combination I listed I would go with Barroth Helm, Zinogre Mail, Rathalos Braces, Skalda/Spio Braces, and Golden Hakama with your charm and 2 Attack jewels. Now that AB has a percentage aspect to it, I believe AB7/CB2 is slightly higher DPS than AB4/CB3 even at 90-100% affinity like you would have with Nargacuga. With Tigrex you'd definitely get more out of attack because even with Weakness Exploit 3 your affinity is a bit low.

Is your problem with aiming/hitting the 3 shots in the air? People have said gyro aiming has helped them, you can also mess with the reticle speed/auto aim settings in the options.

If your problem is WHEN to use it you generally only go for it at the end of your combo when your stamina is basically gone and you are at your highest charge level. You have to stay somewhat close to the monster as well so you dont get out of critical distance. Spread and Pierce shots can be kind meh with it as well if your going for a small weakpoint

Knowing when is easy. Making sure I hit aim and hit the head is the trick part.
