dotsdfe 03/17/21 4:43:51 AM #10:	Phoenix Wright. I love his growth and journey across games, and he balances being funny and endearing with being serious and badass when the situation calls for it. He gets some flak for how AA5/6 handle him, but I really like him as "Classic silly Phoenix, but also more mature as he takes on a mentor role", and I think that AA4 Phoenix was a bit too much of a departure for him, especially in the flashback case where he's arrogant and kind of unlikable. But yeah, he has to be my favorite ever, I just love him. Honorable mentions: Tibarn (Fire Emblem) Gundam (Danganronpa) Selphie (Final Fantasy) Kanji (Persona) Edgeworth, Maya, and tons more (Ace Attorney) Probably tons and tons of others that I'm blanking on right now. --- Winner of the Third Hacked User Contest. Mine was a male human warrior, no chosen one trope or special abilities, just a regular guy put against his will in difficult circumstances, and through fight and diplomacy managed to ~~save Ferelden and die heroically at the end~~. I don't even mind the lack of unified design/origin and voice acting, it's still my favorite. My female soldier Commander Shepard is close second. He's certainly not a character I personally relate to, considering how vindictive and conniving he turns out to be; but he's one of those rare characters where every line of dialogue he has leaves me enrapt, due in equal parts to the writing and the voicework. 'I'll blast your ass so far through your head, it'll paint the moon cherry-pie red' is honestly one of my favorite lines in gaming, and it's one of those lines that would've fallen completely flat if it had been delivered by a stock grizzled badass character (or any other character archetype, for that matter).
