It says I was randomly selected. I haven't been able to find any info about my states vaccine rollout program that ever said vaccines would be distributed randomly at any point.

The email address checks out though. Is this going on anywhere in the country that people are aware of?

Assume that it is scam and figure out your own state's process and inquire there. I heard nothing and signed up for NJ last week but it's always best to be cautious.

The problem is that I'm struggling to find a smoking gun that says it was a scam. Quite the contrary actually.

I think I need to get another set of eyes to look at this email and see if I'm missing something.

If your state has some kind of department of health or any way to contact them, I would suggest trying to contact them or even a local congressman's office and inquire. Call me jaded, but I feel like scams, especially pertaining to the vaccine, could easily run rampant.
