"He has the power to wipe out the entire human race, and if we believe there's even a one percent chance that he is our enemy we have to take it as an absolute certainty." -Batfleck, BvS

"Even if we have a fraction of a chance?" -Batfleck, Justice League on the possibility of reviving Superman

He must've had a really memorable experience in statistics class.

That doesn't seem that frequent?

Speaking in terms of probability is also a classic "smart character" trope. Pretty sure Stark in the MCU does it a lot.

I have no idea whether or not he's a racist, but apparently there are recordings of him using racial slurs so it's a distinct possibility.

Alright, so I watched Justice League as a refresher to see how it will compare to the "Snyder Cut" later this week. It felt pretty weak and at times it was mirroring the MCU too hard.

I don't know why Barry is such a loser and was solely made to be the clueless, comedic relief character. I hate him. Maybe that's his canon personality in the comics though. I dunno.

I find it weird that Bruce felt such a connection and loyalty to Clark, despite them only really being buddies for like 20 minutes. When he said he was bringing the big guns, I still think he should've brought Martha.

Also, I don't know why everyone on the team was being so hostile towards each other. In the Avengers, it makes sense that Captain America didn't like Tony; Tony acts like a total douche. Here, all their issues with each other felt forced. They have a little Civil War-like debate about whether it is ethical to bring people back from the dead and suddenly Diana goes on an anti-science spiel. Bruce insults Diana about Steve Trevor and she shoves him into some empty boxes. What was he hoping to gain from that?

I actually have to watch Wonder Woman again to remind myself what happened. Apparently, she felt tremendous guilt over Steve, but I don't remember her instructing him to do anything. Her little arc in the movie was eh.

I hate Cyborg's character. Alfred uses a bunch of adjectives to describe him, namely genius and deceased. I don't recall him doing anything that could be considered genius. He overtakes the batcrab thing and shoots a missile at Steppenwolf, who then grabs the missile, insults the "primitive" technology, and then throws it at the wall to cause the place to flood. That batcrab was better left dead! When he's tasked with finding Steppenwolf, he just makes a AR globe and just spins it around, like he's looking for Waldo. WTF! And in the final fight, he just plays with the Rubik's cubes the entire time. I'd hope for strategy or something from the 'genius' guy (but I guess that was a part of Diana's arc).

And then Superman makes the Justice League seem pointless. Everything everyone did still required Superman. Alfred specifically warns about the civilian family driving east and Barry has to go save them. Then Superman says there are too many for Barry to save and Superman saves a whole building of people who we didn't even know existed (just to show off how much better Superman is, I guess). The fact that he caught up with Barry is just weird too! Was Barry just running at a leisurely pace the entire time? Did Barry even know he had an entire building of people to save? Alfred didn't warn about them! And then Superman had to separate the motherboxes and pummel Steppenwolf. What was even the point of everyone else? Just buying time for Superman?

Also, way too much exposition. Way too many scenes where they're all huddled together just talking about things.

Anywho, here's hoping the Snyder Cut will be better. Barry is probably still going to be dumb AF.
