Yup. Almost old enough to reach the age where I have some of my earliest memories at the same age. Meaning: oh hey, I'm just as old as my mom was when I remember her doing some things. We used to sit and play Super Mario Bros. 3 and the original Zelda on her NES (mostly me watching her play the latter). I can remember instances of this when I was as young as three or four and it's hard to conceptualize that my mother was the age I am now. I'm kind of a fuck up, so I can't imagine being responsible for a child.

They were 25 & 24 when I was born and I'm 32 now. Kinda crazy to think that they were basically set by that time, in terms of being on their career paths, owning a home, and with a kid on the way. They were way too young for all of that.

Shit. Makes you think how long some of us in our 30s / 40s have been around here. Especially since most of us were teenagers or early 20s at most when we made our (first) account.

Also, yes I'm older than my mother was when I was born. I'm 34 now and don't have any kids of my own, nor do I plan on ever having them.

Ya, that's what I was thinking. I'd rather have parents that were older that had their shit together than younger.
Having said that, it also means they would be rather old when you were only like 30.
In this day it would seem being older would be better.

I'm at the point where I think it would be unfair to have kids, if for no other reason than I am not with anyone, and to be with some long enough to commit to bringing in someone to the world would make me too old.

I would rather have Gen X parents than, what I am guessing Millenial Parents are going to be like.
