Also did not believe in evolution because he said it's just adaptation and mutations, so whatever something evolved from should still be called the original species. The previous pastor said "of course dinosaurs existed, I can see their bones." I liked this much more. The current one is all about money and power for himself and his family. That's really trashy -- I don't blame people for having screwed up opinions about religion since I think some of it is deserved as someone who tries to practice the faith. How could you not if your experiences with said religion were shitty too. On the other side of the coin I do think it's incredible how many people really don't do any work themselves to try and actually learn anything about the religion. It comes across off as incredibly stupid when you consider the source of the worlds problems regarding racism and discrimination of groups comes from misunderstanding of people within said groups. That's really trashy -- I don't blame people for having screwed up opinions about religion since I think some of it is deserved as someone who tries to practice the faith. How could you not if your experiences with said religion were shitty too. On the other side of the coin I do think it's incredible how many people really don't do any work themselves to try and actually learn anything about the religion. It comes across off as incredibly stupid when you consider the source of the worlds problems regarding racism and discrimination of groups comes from misunderstanding of people within said groups.
