I'm doing a Phasecast Amara with a Face-puncher and a Fire Stone White Elephant.

Trying to get a FP with 300/90 or 100% melee damage on skill use.

Currently using one that improves Cast damage, but could be better.

I have lost count of how many times I've killed this bastard and I keep getting FP with anointments for the wrong class.

This is getting to be as bad as Blood Starved Beast.

300/90 isn't nearly as good as it used to be: when first introduced it always worked unless the final hit point bar was specifically 'health'. It also has bad synergy with listed pellet counts, since each pellet checks for the 10% loss of a bar to disable the effect. Side Note: When it was first introduced I found that on a pre-nerf Yellow Cake that I gave to Moze; the damage it dealt basically erased anything I pointed the weapon at while also having nearly infinite ammo thanks to Moze..

As such, a lot of people just flock towards the U-Rad effect: when under 50% health your attacks deal a bonus 150% Radiation damage.

Depending on your Amara build though the ASE types can be handy. She can have short cooldowns on her AS and layer bonuses for that from her weapon, grenade, and shield.

Do take breaks between farming sessions though.

I really liked bl3 and then I just stopped playing about halfway into the second dlc. I think I just got kind of burned out. How are the 3rd and 4th dlcs?

The 3rd DLC is sort of a Space Western with a bit of Asian architectural flair. It has a narrator that voices over quest events and the like. Also, oddly enough, I've had some good luck finding legendary weapons in the vending machine in town.

The 4th DLC takes place in Krieg's head. So expect some of weird trippy stuff seen in the deeper parts of Claptrap's psyche(if you played TPS's DLC). It's a bit on the short side though. People also don't like the inflated health pools of some of the bosses.

It's still far ahead of the 'second season' content though....

Well, good to know. I found a double-shot one with the same Anointment, I might just be happy with that.

I did manage to get a Stop-Gap with a shield break on skill use, that's coming in handy. I have a Shooting Star and Plus Ultra as well.

Pretty much.

Some characters need builds and the right guns to be truly viable, but Moze's Iron Bear used to be worthless in M10 and it's doing way better now.

When the 300/90 anointment was introduced it ALWAYS did 300% damage unless one special condition was met: it was the final hit point bar of an enemy, that bar was a red 'health' bar, and it was less than 90% filled.

Now that anointment is more: if the enemy hasn't taken 10% of its total hit points in damage you deal 300% damage.

So a 300/90 anointment is great in the normal story mode, since you can outlevel content and deal a lot of damage. But in Mayhem Mode where single shots just don't do it anymore(unless you're running a Fl4k with Fade Away and maxing out those wild crits) the anointment loses effectiveness against bigger foes.

Even before I had any good weapons on my Moze IB was holding his own on 10.

Took out those notPower Rangers at the Atlas HQ.

I think they just gave it a straight buff to damage and defense that scales with M levels, like melee.

Yeah, as an AS Iron Bear just innately scales with Mayhem. It also fulfills that power fantasy of jumping in a mech to wreck shit, as you can tear through entire rooms with the right builds. Tanky too if you have the Vampyr skill leeching armor with every explosion; assuming that hasn't been patched out.

I need to find a way to deal with shields.

Mooks I can just power through, but Badass shields and occasionally armor is a problem.

Maybe a Shock Stone White Elephant will help.

I think they buffed this in the recent patch, I'm also trying Rosie's Thorns for armor.

Also I got Seventh Sense and it also kind of sucks.

Admittedly, my character is pretty heavily invested in faces and the punching thereof, so that might be a factor.

Even The Monarch doesn't accomplish very much.

Yesterday my farms were dropping like candy, with the anoints I wanted. Today it took probably 3 hours and 30 or 40 drops to get the one I wanted.

Soloed the Maliwan Takedown, not on True mode.

Died once to Wotan, didn't expect the last stage to be quite so chaotic.

Tagged the little running bot for the extra legendaries, somehow I knew about that.

Of stuff I haven't seen before:

A bunch of Sawbars, for some reason.

I started using a Crit (ASE shock) and Soulrender (ASE rad).

The Crit is basically just for shields, but hot DAMN the Render tears shit up.

This is like the only gun I have that does damage.

For comparison's sake, I neglected to check my mail for almost the whole Tentacles DLC.

I had 12 messages from Hyperion.

1200 dead, all with one gun.

Haven't seen that happen before, the healing drones from my Mayhem modifier started following me.

I have two and I think it's about 5% of my shields or health per second.

I know most people don't really like DLC5, but it's one of my favourites.

The MNTS Cannon for Zane made him from my leadt favourite to my favourite Vault Hunter. Capstones from the Purple and Blue trees, plus 11 remaining points in the shield tree, focussing on kill skills. You run around fast, and can pretty much use any weapon.

Speaking of weapons, the Dark Army, Plasmacoil and Tizzy from DLC5 are fucking amazing and Arms Race is a really enjoyable way to play the game to me.

Only thing that "sucks" is getting the wrapon you want, with the prefix you want and the right annointment.

I've only done it once or twice.

First time I didn't notice the chest at the start.

Ran out, tried to summon Iron Bear, failed, and got murdered by a Badass Pyrotech while I tried to beat him to death.

Second time went better.

The rebalancing of weapons is neat, I'm not used to white guns actually accomplishing anything.

Don't really care about the first, but the second and third are my favorites of their respective tiers since they aren't super intrusive.

The last isn't ideal but I figure using Commander Planetoid evens it out. If I don't like a given immunity, wait five seconds.

I was hoping for Slayer and the Invulnerability Drone for top and bottom, but I'm not sure that's even a possible roll.

I had Lootsplosion and the lowered crit damage before, so let's see if this ups my damage.

I have a few Light Shows and Beacons, LS seems better for Fl4k and Moze than Amara.

I was trying a Maggie and it was garbage even with 250% damage ASE.

Mayhem 11 has not been proved to halve drop rates, you're especially fine if youre farming dedicated drops too, I recommend upping it unless you like the modifiers.

They just nerfed white elephant which is a bummer. I have a feeling stinger and unleash the dragon are next as they are capable of dealing trillions of damage. Can't have a raid boss if everyone is one shotting it
