Two of the largest businesses in the world with many employees, thought that I wasn't qualified to work for them. I filled out their super long applications and got squat. Of course, I found luck with a small business and wouldn't give it up for those two, but ouch.

It's good that they didn't rope you in. You would of regretted it.

How the hell do you not get bored at McDs? You could show up to the interview pleasuring yourself and they would've hired you.

This is the answer. You say you can't work weekends or holidays, you aren't getting hired.

They also tend not to hire people who have any kind of skills or experience whatsoever, because they expect the person will keep looking for another job and just quit when they get another offer.

Yeah I feel like this is for sure the case 99% of the time. I was a manager at 3 different places and did hiring and availability plus work experience was literally all I cared about.

You wanna hear a real head scratcher?walmart turned me down for a seasonal position (so only temporary and I listed myself as available 24/7) but the prison felt I was qualified enough.

Glad it worked out that way as I ended up with a career job with decent benefits rather than a temp job that maybe woulda kept me around after the season ended but would have (according to people I know working there) kept me listed as temporary to avoid giving certain benefits or vacation

Also to point out my way mart anyways has this weird interview set up where they ask you hypothetical scenario questions. First timr I interviewed I was told I didnt get the job cause I took too long to answer the questions. Well not all where hypotheticals some where outright asking stuff like in previous jobs how did you handle certain situations. To which some i had never dealt with.

The temp position they didnt do all that though and lied to me and said I had the job provided my background check came back good. Tell me how I pass a background check for a prison but not walmart
