And vertical fucking farms.

Let's see who has a problem with this.

It can be done via more RSUs, profit sharing, and stock options for all employees.

All employees should be treated well like tech employees and finance employees.

Give all humans shared stake in humanity's greatest brands.

Anything else is evil.

You do realize that will never happen, because no one has enough global authority to do that right? Plus, as said, they're wealthy. Best case scenario is before it passes they'd just turn everything in to hard to follow cash or other assets and fuck off to live on one of those mega yachts and use their immense resources to make sure people don't find it.

Im not sure how this works.

People like Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk probably have multiple millions in liquid cash, and probably some other securities as well, but I would think most of their value is in stocks for their company.

Which of these is the tax on? It wouldnt make sense to force people to sell stocks in their company to get money to pay for this tax.

I think it would make sense to allow people to designate one company that they can hold their value in, and the tax wont apply until they sell those shares

This is just propaganda. Gates and Buffet already said they want to be taxed more.

They literally said it and know what would happen if wealth inequality continues. So tax them. They'll accept a steep tax and still be rich, and still will do exactly the same "good" but much less evil.

Then make it a capital gains tax and enforce more RSUs/profit sharing/stock options for employees at corporations. People everywhere in Europe, India, Brazil, China, Russia, can continue the demand for better conditions which has been the course of humanity for thousands of years already.

The mechanisms exist and can be done. Warren's wealth tax isn't stupid and is a good start, even if it's not global. It probably doesn't even need to be. UK can have its own tax on the royalty there, etc.
