and this sounds like an episode of South Park.

tl;dr for anyone who's unaware:
  • Evo Japan 2019, Mr. Wizard takes down the livestream because a couple of Japanese models are making risque poses. He added "the stream does not reflect our Core Values".
  • Results in tons of nerd rage.
  • Next year, Mr. Wizard gets outed not only as a sex offender but a pedophile. The person who started the #metoo movement against him was a man named "CrackPr0n".
  • In his detailed longtwit, he talks about how Mr. Wizard would pay young boys to undress under the guise of a prank where he was sometimes the victim of these "pranks".
  • Mr. Wizard immediately gets rightfully cancelled in an ironic circumstance.
  • It gets even more ironic when "CrackPr0n" himself gets #metoo'd. Tons of girls (under the age of 18) come out talking about how he forced himself on them and committed statuary rape, and then he gets cancelled.
Whole thing is sad and absurd.

Them taking down that stream cuz the Japanese models were too skimpy was such bullshit. No surprise that spineless cuck turned out to be a sex offender. Way to project, asshole, and ruin something fun!

Multiple events iirc, apparently a lot of minors and adults share motel rooms at these tournaments (which seems a whole another issue)
