Aw damn that sucks lol. We used to get served unseasoned microwaved frozen veggies too, and it wasn't until I was older that I realized you can cook them so they taste good...

Thats nice!! I'm guessing an older sister? My mom did most of the cooking, but my dad stepped in and made spaghetti sometimes

Probably her style of tacos but the bar is pretty low because the alternatives were pasta made with sauce that she would throw together in gallon batches so we could have pasta for a month, or soggy porkchops and soggy steamed broccoli that had been in a steamer for like five hours.

Those are literally all the dinners I remember, maybe burgers or hot dogs on the grill in the summer time.

Cheeseburgers. She was not a great cook and it took me movig out to realize that. Always edible and not bad but like zero seasoning, I want to say something every time I visit now and be like "yo ma there's this great new thing called salt"

It was just the sauce lol and maybe a month is an exaggeration but at least a couple of weeks, in the freezer.

There were a couple simple casseroles I remember liking as a kid, but my mom is the pickiest eater Ive ever met in my life and looking back I probably wouldnt like anything she made if she made it today

My mom was the white parent. But I like her fideo more than the ones I had from my Mexican side.

My mother didn't cook much. Scones and cookies now and then, but my dad did the meal cooking.

He made Italian Beef that I would murder an arbitrarily large number of persons to have again.

My two favs (I still make today) were Goulash and Shrimp Scampi. Also, on St. Patrick's Day, Corned Beef and Cabbage.

My mom was arguably the worst cook ever. Her idea of cooking was throwing plain chicken breast in the oven and making a box of instant mashed potatoes. Shes the reason white people have the unseasoned stereotype.

My dad on the other hand was the cook in my family. Hes Greek and always made the best homemade Greek food. My favorite was pastitcio, which is essentially Greek lasagna.
