The very second story mission requires you to run around a mazelike cruise ship, making deliveries under a time limit. These deliveries are randomly generated and it's an unreasonable difficulty spike. I'm just flat-out giving up on it. It vastly exceeds my BS meter. And it doesn't make sense in the confines of the story, either. The staff are allowed to look through the lost and found where the item you need is, so they recommend you go and volunteer to work for the captain. But the thing is, YOU'RE A PASSENGER. You should just be able to ask to look through and take your item, no trouble! And I just know that with Naughty Dog's CEO being bestest buddies with Anita Sarkeesian, they're going to make the remake have more woke politics and make Joel more outright villainous to justify ~~him getting murdered~~ in LoU2. Days Gone 2 is something that would have been much better. The only issue I had with 1 was it being a bit grindy, and also not something to play if you're feeling depressed (my two playthroughs were during the stomach bug and the thick of 2020's BS). First, there's a rumor that they're going to be removing patches for certain PS3 games on top of the store shutdown. Second, it was found that if they shut down the PS4's online capabilities AND a certain battery in the PS4 dies, the system will just flat-out not play ANY games, physical or digital. And the battery is estimated to last about 10-20 years... and I got mine a little over 5.5 years ago. I swear, if Sony doesn't do something about all this awful news that's been coming out, I'll switch to whatever the fuck the newest Xbox is called. At least they're importing over old games because their leader believes in the importance of old games. Meanwhile, Playstation's current leader thinks older games are ugly and wonders why anyone would ever play them. This is in contrast to an old leader who went on stage to praise Vib-ribbon; not because it was a sales juggernaut, but because it dared to be creative and try its own thing. My favorite one was this, the regular special stage where you just had to get to the end. It really gives you an exhilarating sense of speed, especially once you figured out you could hold down the dash button to keep dashing continuously (the way the icon flashed made people think you had to press it repeatedly).
