Well, another couple of unfortunate pieces of news regarding Sony.

First, there's a rumor that they're going to be removing patches for certain PS3 games on top of the store shutdown.

Second, it was found that if they shut down the PS4's online capabilities AND a certain battery in the PS4 dies, the system will just flat-out not play ANY games, physical or digital. And the battery is estimated to last about 10-20 years... and I got mine a little over 5.5 years ago.

I swear, if Sony doesn't do something about all this awful news that's been coming out, I'll switch to whatever the fuck the newest Xbox is called. At least they're importing over old games because their leader believes in the importance of old games. Meanwhile, Playstation's current leader thinks older games are ugly and wonders why anyone would ever play them. This is in contrast to an old leader who went on stage to praise Vib-ribbon; not because it was a sales juggernaut, but because it dared to be creative and try its own thing. It's likely his shallow line of thinking that resulted in the store shutdown and wanting more big cinematic safe bet games, hence canning Days Gone 2 in favor of TLoU Remake.
