Like, Last of Us showing the quick collapse of society during the first three years of the outbreak, or a Fallout game set only a few years after the bombs dropped, where there's more radiation, less established settlements, and dangerous species that hadn't gone extinct yet. Fallout 76 was set only 20 years after, but as you might have heard, they screwed up that golden opportunity in favor of a microtransaction-infested MMO with no human NPCs (at launch, anyway). This results in the suit's built-in diagnostics becoming confused and glitchy as it's trying to comprehend what the fuck is happening to its wearer. You can hear that it's already thrown all the morphine and antitoxin it's got at them, but doesn't know what to do otherwise. A zombie that retains some of its original personality is an idea that needs to be done more often. MegamanXfan21xx 03/25/21 5:09:09 AM #147:	Been playing Undermine, after a guy I'm subscribed to did some LPs of it while it was still under development. It's a roguelike where you go into some mines, fight monsters, and gather gold. The early game sucks, sadly. You have to buy permanent upgrades to your health, damage, and gold bag, since you lose a portion of your gold on death, so you'll be stuck in the beginning mines for a few hours before you get enough upgrades and extra items to have a decent chance to survive. Then it'll be the advanced dungeons that kick your ass until you get more upgrades to survive those. I'm not asking to reach the end boss in one go, but at least let me see some variety before I get killed.
