A lot of seasons kind of dragged at the beginning, but it was well put together with an all star cast. DD3 is also good, but DD2 is basically two separate storylines (since it existed to introduce Punisher -- who got his own series -- and Elektra, who was supposed to get her own series). IF1 was incredible, but IF2 lost me at places. Punisher 1 started slow and had occasional issues, but Punisher 2 was a wild ride from start to finish -- although both seasons are dark to the point of depressing at times. JJ1 was great. JJ2 was all over the place. JJ3 was a downer. LC1 started slow, had some shitty writing, etc, but it picked up by the end. LC2 fixed a lot of that. Defenders was everything that was wrong with the NF MCU. It hurt the transitions from DD2 to DD3 and LC1 to LC2 by brushing off big events at the end of the season. Besides that, it was a fucking mess with a TERRIBLE, goofy villain. Part of the problem was that it was only like 6 episodes long, although the bigger issue is that it started with each of the protagonists getting their own storyline -- and one for the villains -- where the individual heroes eventually joined into two separate storylines (the villains still had a storyline) before the four wound up teaming up. So in a short series, there was a build-up of I think like 2 or 3 episodes. Agents of Shield was pretty much unwatchable. It looks like some cooler stuff happens later (although even you get goofy 90s special effects), but it's so fucking bad. I made it through Gotham (which went off the rails pretty quickly after that first or second season), but I couldn't make it through this. DiScOrD tHe LuNaTiC posted...
