That's a total crock of blank slate bullshit. Genes play at least 50% of the role in determining intelligence and after the age of ten, a person's IQ has more or less stabilized, meaning that you can't use environmental interventions at that point to increase someone's intelligence.

if you INSIST I can go into more depth or you can just read Enlightenment Now by Steven Pinker. but it's entirely wrong to go down your current approach. note that racists and closet racists like Stefan Molyneux (who I used to respect and follow because of their views on atheism/God) use this as a justification to be racist.

It's not true though. The numbers show that as you normalize for access to food/shelter, IQ is basically a growth curve.

of course, like the other guy said we would have to improve society first

but eventually once we have safety nets like free college and universal basic income (that scales to family size), absolutely we should allow as much reproduction as people want (and we already do now, thankfully ppl are smarter than this topic title suggests and actually mostly using birth control)

Genes and 50%. You do know that all humans come from 8 mothers, right? The human gene pool is the major determinant of special abilities. Geniuses are born every so many births. It is time to treasure every child.

What most people call heredity is financial inheritance.

I've never heard of any neuroscientist or intelligence researcher who says that intelligence is entirely due to non-genetic factors. It sounds to me like you read a little bit about the Flynn Effect and didn't entirely understand it.

It's pretty nice in Canada actually after your approved for housing you get a free place to live with low rent and a steady stream of income from the government. Its low but if you know how to manipulate the system your set for life until the kid turns 18 almost.
