I think i claimed the 3 free months of it when i subbed to discord nitro but it needed to be tied to a payment method to claim. So 4 months later i get a payment from microsoft about it.

What play now? are windows version of games compatible with other launcher's like steam?

Deliver us the moon was a sleeper hit for me. It's only a few hours long, but it was crazy good imo

I have been hearing good things about blood stained, but i never grew up around metroidvanias how easy is it to get into?

Easy enough imo, it's not very punishing for that kind of game, you might struggle a bit in the very early stages, once you find a weapon you click with it's a breeze. I don't really recall getting stuck or frustrated due to difficulty. It's a real nice homage to the Castlevania games, especially SotN.

If you want something a bit more chill but depth like a Metroidvania, Spiritfarer was my game of the year for 2020, and it's really exceptional.

You should at least try to play Skater XL. It's a fun indie skateboarding game and it's free on game pass.

Yeah I loved Desperados 3. One of my favorite games from last year. Streets of Rage 4 is a fun romp too.

I think Bloodstained is being removed soon so keep that in mind.
