I'm 2/3rds of the way into it. Jong's kind of a weirdo, but now that Hae-mi has vanished, I get this weird fucking vibe

The movie touches briefly on metaphors and Jong is a writer. Ben says he burns greenhouses but Jong can't find any in the area, and Ben cryptically says "Very near" when they meet again. When they were smoking pot, Ben said "Every 2 months or so", and that 2 months was coming up, and the last time he burned one was before the trip to Africa. Then... Hae-mi vanishes and Ben has a new girl.

If that's the twist this movie is genius lol
