"It's not ripe" was pretty cringe, it didn't really get a smile out of me. Some of Drax's interactions with Mantis were great though, but I felt like the first movie was better structured, and had better dialog overall. Soundtrack was better also. I think what it came down to was when GotG released, I wasn't convinced it was going to be good, I thought it was gonna flop and leave a bad taste on what they were doing with the MCU. I saw it the weekend it was out and basically left with that "How was that so good?" feeling and it's probably a top 3 Marvel movie for me.
