Apparently it was so appalling that some people couldn't even describe it

I remember people saying in his final stream before being banned it looked like he suddenly was startled by someone in the room right before the stream abruptly ended. People thought a SWAT team burst into his home while he was streaming

My theory on why he got banned on Twitch.

Dr. Disrespect is so into his character that he threated to dox or commit violence to other streamers. Because Dr. Disrespect is "hardcore". Another similar theory is that Doc doxxed and threatened other streamers and then hid behind the Dr. Disrespect character "oh it wasn't me it was just the character hehe"

He started getting his sponsorships and banner ads back up right after they were taken down. It likely wasn't anything truly serious.

Far as I know, the reason has never been confirmed, though.

ya. they locked him up with a big contract because bleeding streamers. now those streamers are back on the table, they axed him. had plenty of ammo to do so. that makes a ton of sense. if it was some hyper inflammatory incident, shit would be out/leaked.

His story is that Twitch wanted out of their contract with him. When Mixer died, it freed up people like Shroud and Ninja. Apparently twitched axed his contract to pick them up instead.

Which could be true. Timings make sense, business motive makes sense. What doesn't make sense is the people who apparently knew but couldn't talk about it. Like the ones saying, OMG IT'S SO AWFUL but I can't say. Part of me thinks they were fishing for attention as surely if it was legit bad, he would be arrested or someone would have aired the dirty laundry by now.

it was absolutely pathetic, the amount of loser clout chasers on Twitter trying to say they knew what he did and it was horrible but didn't want to say anything just so when it came out they could look like they had sources

no idea the terms, but i wouldn't be surprised they just go with one of the stupid things doc did to get his channel killed and ultimately out of the contract.

if your channel is banned, your contracts fucked basically.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense. If the contract can be terminated with essentially no obvious violation of the contract on Dr. Disrespects end, then they didn't need to ban him to terminate the contract. In fact, doing so just decreased their own revenue as Dr. Disrespect would undoubtedly have kept streaming on the service as a regular partner and still made money for them.

If they needed to ban him in order to get out of the contract, then they would have needed a just violation of their ToS to do so (presumably), otherwise they would likely open themselves up to wrongful termination suits.

Either way, Twitch definitely made themselves seem super suspect by never revealing the reason

I hated this about that time, so many people saying that and seeing people upload like 3 videos about it and each one says literally nothing new was so annoying, like literally just say why or shut up

Dude sucks but I dont think he did anything crazy. My guess is the people saying he did were either misinformed or looking for clicks, and will probably never come out and admit it
