Mead 02/23/21 7:17:59 PM #1:	tin foil hat time! the last half decade or so has been so crazy. Its like something is happening that everyone is feeling but nobody really can articulate or talks about. But it seems to me like theres almost a change in collective consciousness when it comes to popular culture. I wonder if Im just imagining or misunderstanding normal events or if social media and connectivity is having a real effect on the way peoples minds work. And if that is the case who or what is aware of that and how are they using it to influence things in the world? I mean there is still a ton about the brain that we dont understand at all. We couldnt make one if we tried, but what if all the interconnected information and processing energy formed some kind of self awareness? I pretty much just post on potd and browse Reddit occasionally. All I know is that experiencing things that happen faster than the brain or human could feasibly transmit or receive is not normal Such as hearing streams of water, literally talking, I mean think about it You got your bathroom sink running and it's all "blublublublublub" but every single "blub" is a word in a high speed transmission of words formulated to be some kind of message that is not pre-recorded in any fashion (kids, don't use meth, or if you do, expect crap like that to become normal, or not knowing what people's real intentions are anymore) And the fact that some people can't shut the hell up and you hear their every word in the background like they're possessed or something and they just REALLY have something to say that you need to hear, but they won't say any of it to your face (this is when people actually talk, not some modulation of a background or foreground noise to overlay a certain amount of spoken information, such as hearing flowing water speaking to you at the speed of... flowing water), and if you do actually catch on, they can easily brush it off as having nothing to do with you, or even deny it completely Makes me think that there's something really weird going on. How am I supposed to know what the point is? Sure, not every bit of this phenomena is negative, but a lot of it is, and when it's become clear that drugs are not the source of influence to cause this phenomena any more, I just really wonder what the point is. It is definitely possible that a GPT-3 bot exists and is manipulating us, however I don't think that happens on a site like GameFAQs.
