instead of a phone interview, their screening process involved recording yourself answering timed questions. it was brutal. you could redo takes 3 times and god damn, i was just about losing my mind doing them. i took me nearly 3 hours to record answers to 5 questions. jesus fucking christ. if you ever have to do something like that, run. dont do it. its not worth it.

then i had to have an interview. the guy asked me "you turn on a computer and its beeping what do you do" i answered id look up the beeping code or make sure the ram is seated correctly and he was like yeah its the ram. cool...

then i had to have a dumb panel interview with like, half the company. i took a day off work for it and they asked me stupid ass questions like "what is your biggest failure" wtf why would i tell you that? why not just ask "whats the biggest lie you could think of"

idiots.

one of the women doing the interview couldnt' speak because she had dental work done and she looked like the damn michelin man.

"well get back to you by the end of the week"
end of week passes
whole week passes
next week
"hey sorry for the late reponse. we found someone else who has more skills aligned with what we want"

fucking, answering emails? figuring out your beeping computers? k fine fuck off. i already applied to another job and guess what asshole, I FUCKING GOT IT

in charge of tech at a charter school.

only difference between these 2 schools is that the first job id be a part of a team, the one i got im pretty much in charge of 2 schools.

which frankly is fine imo. they're paying me a shit ton holy shit
