I still have a sealed copy of Persona 5 Take Your Heart Edition, basically by accident.

I want to play Persona 5 Royal.

Should I sell it or will it keep going up in value? Its kind of a weird situation because its been replaced by P5R

If you intend to play Royal, specifically, the answer is probably to sell. Collectors don't care if there's a newer version. (Well, they do, in both directions, but that's on a case-by-case basis.)

Not a special edition but I just found out that the sealed copy of Ghost Trick I bought 10 years ago and never got around to playing now goes for 3-4 times what I paid for it

I never meant to hold onto it sealed like that, I just stopped opening games until I was going to actually play them and like I said, never got around to it

I'm not saying you should open that, because you probably shouldn't. But you should play Ghost Trick.

Honestly sell the sealed one, then buy a used one.
