Note this is for everyone, not just Texans

1). Climate Change storms are the new norm, nobody is safe from a historical disaster anymore.

2). 1-3 months savings is too low, now time to have a year plus, In fact, I would add have plan b escape location.

3). Either ride it out the long haul or trust your gut feeling and leave...Once the train is rolling it's hard to escape and hotels will be full. Don't listen to other idiots, do your own research and make the decision yourself. I had a bad feeling about the storm this weekend but listened to my friend that said it's nothing, luckily I got out unlike them.

Things I learned...

1. Seriously consider filing up your tub and turning the water off at the street ahead of the storm.
2. Buy a Kerosene heater and know where you can get K1 Kerosene quick.
3. Always invest in a front wheel drive vehicle.

Dude buying my F150 has been one of the best decisions ever lol. If you have the funds available, trucks are going thru their sale months right now.
