As a government official and a representative of the state, it's irresponsible for him to take a trip outside the US while the people that elected him are having these issues. If you're a leader "let me get out of here" isn't an acceptable response.

Okay, this I can get behind. I hadn't thought of that. With this in mind he actually should be giving supplies to those in need; he can afford cases of water and food for a lot of people.

Mack opened his stores to people escaping the high waters of Hurricane Harvey, and gave out his personal cell in case people needed to call him to be rescued by boat. He always does stuff like that.
