I'd put $10M aside for my dream homes. Primary place would be in Port Angeles, WA, Bellingham WA, Bend, OR, Hood River, OR, Twin Falls, ID. Maybe a few others but I would do up to $9M on primary place and spend remaining (at least $1M). Property needs at least 10 acres, should be surrounded by large lots as well. At most 15 minutes from the city. Ideally has water on it, maybe a creek or in Port Angeles, ocean front.

Second property would be a condo in San Diego. I'd need to stay some winters down there to see where exactly I would want to live. Experience so far says La Jolla or Coronado.

Set aside another $5M of crazy money. I will give myself an annual allowance and this will be for anything above that. Would be invested until used in an aggressive mix of stocks, mostly tech, with a bit in crypto, like 10%.

Work with a fiduciary financial planner, put remaining $85M in a conservative mix of stocks mostly dividend paying established companies, bonds, precious metals, tiny bit of crypto, like 1%. Target 6-8%.

Use that to pay out $500k per year to myself cash, after taxes taken care of. Taxes, HOA fees, maintenance on homes, insurance (property and personal) would add up to average $100k / year, probably increasing slightly faster than inflation but not ridiculously so. Leave's $400k a year to be a playboy with. Spend my time skiing, fishing, hunting, racing, boating, dirt biking, wind surfing, whatever. I would want to learn how to be a diesel mechanic, auto mechanic, welder, cnc machine operator / designer, 3d printing, various things on reusable energy and electricity in general (including automotive) etc.

Figure after about 10 years of that, I'll get bored. I will then take my skills and go to Africa or SE Asia or S. America or the likes to be a source of local mystery, just some white guy that showed up out of no where and started fixing shit for free under the name Wayne Duke. Use my knowledge and some of my resources to develop the area. From simple stuff like "hey, poor village, this is how you fill an application to get funding for a school or hospital from this group of americans" or whatever up to like using my money develop a power grid or something.

After I get tired of that, leave, but return every couple of years and do some big project. Try to develop cult worshippers maybe? Or maybe just settle for hero? Upon death donate a sizable portion of my wealth to help develop the region in perpetuity.

First thing I would do is buy a Lamborghini Urus SUV. Then as soon as I get the vaccine I'd be down in Phoenix buying a house in Paradise Valley.

After that I'd probably buy a racetrack membership somewhere and spend the rest of my life fucking around at the track and going to fancy restaurants because I certainly wouldn't be working.

There's a property here built like a hundred years ago that has a private drive off the highway and no neighbour's anywhere and a good sized lake size lot and no one else can ever build anywhere near it.

It's a pretty standard log cabin but I dont give a fuck. I'd buy that property for whatever it took, build a huge skatepark in the yard with some lake jumps off the high side of the property, and anything else is just icing on the cake.

I'll also have a 49 merc built exactly like I want and a nice wake board boat and a sick af 74 fj40 all custom built.

Worst case scenario I get everything I want and have ~90 million left.

Pay off my house and car. Probably renovate the house and sell it and move to a more final house. I'd give some to family members with the stipulation that this is the only handout they'll be getting (I'd step in for emergencies in the future but not going to fund peoples habits or lifestyles).

After all that I'd just settle down and live my life. I'd probably be looking at 70 mil or so left over after the initial spending. I'm 32 this year so living on $1 mil a year which is easily feasible would get me to 102 years old which I doubt I'll live to. So basically yeah I'd just sit back and enjoy life. House paid off, car paid off so no notes to worry about, just trivial utilities and property taxes

Buy a good house in a nice neighborhood, nothing extravagant.

Put half of it into savings.

Put most of the rest into my checking account.

Put a good amount into stocks.

Live off the rest, whether or not I'm working.
