It's crazy to me that they can't find this guy when he's on film.

I used to live in IN almost 10 years ago. Still got family out there I go see every few years. These kinds of things sadly happen all over the world, no matter how much some of us like to think the best cities and neighborhoods are safe. If I recall a mass shooting happened in Indianapolis, IN recently that left 4 people dead, and somewhere else in IN some teen killed his pregnant teen girlfriend because he didn't want her to carry their unborn baby to term. Both happened within a year.

I was born in Indiana but I left as a baby. only ever visited back once when I was 10 for a few hours during a cross country trip

that's why this caught my eye. but also the creepy thing about catching his image and voice by the victims

Saw a YouTube video about that once. Pretty messed up.

That's crazy. And in a rural small community too. Either the killer is long gone or those people are oblivious that someone they've seen around is a killer.

They've been pretty active about trying to find their killer. They came close with this sex-offender and it really looked like he was the one but I think he had an alibi.

We have had quite a few national-headline unsolved murders. Two from IU Lauren Spierer (no body found but.....yeah...) and Jill Beherman went unsolved for like 6-7 years. The latter's murderer just got released a couple years back.

We also had Jim Jones start in Indy and the Sylvia Likens torture murder. We are a dark, dark state. >_>

We are from there but my husband and I moved to work in SK a few years ago. Our families are still there and we still claim it as home.

Yeah it was close-ish to where my wife grew up. I remember them finding the one dude with a terrible rap sheet and looked like the guy in the picture but it was apparently proven not to be him.
