Just finished Star Wars Rebels episode three Droids in Distress. Ezra so far used force jump and force push without training.

This reminds me of Rey from the sequel trilogy using force pull, force mind trick, force lightning without training and also Broom Kid from The Last Jedi.

Aside from light sensing/feeling/instincts, I recall George Lucas era characters needing practice for use of the force.

Anakin was using the force to compete in pod races.

Obi-Wan kind of brags on Luke about being a good pilot.

Luke himself kind of brags about it.

I mean like without really knowing why at the moment.

I think Qui-gon said he had quicker reaction time too. So that would be a physical thing and he was only 8. He wasnt force pushing people off the track, but again he was like 8.

The truth is we didnt see a lot of pre-Jedi before Disney. We really only saw Luke. And Yoda didnt seem that impressed with his abilities. So we can probably assume Yoda had seen a few pre-Jedi force pushing some stuff around. Otherwise Yoda probably wouldnt have been so disappointed in the X-wing in the swamp thing.

Literal babies were using the force in the Clone Wars cartoon. Stop trying to make up stupid rules for the space fantasy movie franchise.

The reaction speed was because Anakin was sensing the future in some way so he was able to respond sooner than most.

Never thought about Yoda seeing more impressive individuals before Luke. That's a good way to look at it.
