• The Michigan state capitol stormed
• An foiled plot to kidnap and kill Michigan's governor
• A state house republican in Oregon letting rioters into the Oregon state capitol building

It's also fair to say that some conservatives have been itching for another civil war ever since they lost the first one.

I'm not trying to downplay the insanity of his cult, what I'm saying is compared to all their threats and bravado they really didn't do much of anything. The Capitol attack along with the points you listed are serious to be sure, however hey were also very small groups of lunatics, a FAR cry from the millions of people who swear they'll fight to take back the election. Basically the conservative version of "Storm Area 51", basically nobody showed.

Now, that's not to say the threat is over, I think there will always be lunatics loyal to him, but I also think it's fizzled out now that reality has set in and he's really gone. But I also just don't see the Trump cult regaining the power it had, he's done and not coming back, ever. So I don't think we need to be cow toeing to these idiots and basically validating their madness
