I think women should get an equal opportunity. Like men, there's a lot of stupid ass women. But the difference is people are more lenient on those stupid men than they are with the stupid women. I think that's wrong.

Sorry, I mean to say that the impact of accepting those beliefs is generally seen as ill
intentioned when some people have that opinion. I guess it's not a big deal if people just keep quiet.

Not all self proclaimed feminists are good representatives for feminism

Modern feminist movements only seem interested in improving conditions for women. The reality is that gender norms can effect men and women negatively.

Then bring up groups that involve person's of color who happen to be feminists and the concept of "white girl feminism" and things really start to get complex.

Feminism is a pretty broad term.

I was born a male and identify with my birth gender.

My thought process is to be a fair and competent. I am wrong in many areas, but my goal is to understand where and why I am wrong.

That's why the thought of being a male feminist is truly laughable and any sort of thought in this area is foolish.

How about we all just work on being a decent, thoughtful human and all things may just fall into place.

My few cents here.....

See, you agree with the progressive but maybe not liberal agenda. So it would be fair to say you are a progressive, in some sense.

Feminism is fine but I'm kind of suspicious of how some feminists say that feminism will advance genuine men's rights issues and others say that it's not up to feminism to do those, but at the same time might argue that men's rights issues don't exist or shouldn't be a priority for anyone...

LIke, which is it? Can't have it all these ways. Men should have a space to talk about and promote genuine men's issues, and I don't think we need to sit back and wait for feminism to do it, especially when so many feminists are quite dismissive of them in general.

Note, I'm not talking about that MRA shit that is basically just an excuse to push a misogynistic agenda. Equally the fact that such a thing exists doesn't dismiss the idea that men have anything real to worry about.

I think most dudes who claim feminist are trying to make it about themselves. Let someone else notice your efforts if they're really there. It's like saying "I'm real. Im the truth", show it with your actions or you just look like an idiot trying to manipulate people in the most basic way. The title shouldn't matter if you're actually the thing you claim.
