Never took off thankfully (probably within a week itll be $20+). Also bought again in 2019 for like $210 again (ouch) Tesla - Feb 2019 20 shares @ 248 sold $250 Sept $2019 (literally run me over with a truck cuz I sold a week before Id have made bank) Sunoco - April 2020 @ $14 sold at $16. Also had some from 2018 I had bought at like $23 and sold at $26 so that wasnt terrible. ACB - 2020 $8 sold at $11 (legit a few weeks ago!) I like Fisker but I sold mine recently, might get back in but not til after I figure out what Im doing with my extra funds in AMC. ACB but I sold all my shares on Jan 15th for $11 and its now $20. Conker 02/10/21 7:56:25 PM #486:	Future_Trunks posted... my bad yea you already said those, i forgot. i might do IMAX but i need to look into it ab it more. don't they just sell the imax technology? how will they grow from this? theaters aren't exactly wanting to spend on stuff to improve the theater experience, they're gonna wanna cut as many costs as possible. it's not like theaters or theme parks are revenue has become non-existent... imax probably has contracts in place to lease or service the tech for theaters so i'm not sure how they wil benefit in a post covid world unless more theaters are gonna be popping up. @Conker Well, they are the one aspect of theaters that has stayed a bit exclusive. For example, some movies are getting exclusive IMAX theater releases vs theaters simultaneously with On Demand. Of course they have the equipment aspect for it too. So IMAX is seen as an experience but also a way to shoot moreso than just a movie to go see or watch, which will help with the I can just watch it at home aspect of people not wanting to go pay for a ticket. The upcharge to go see IMAX sounds more appealing now because its getting out and doing something different that a lot of people dont regularly do or havent been able to. Lets say the big theater chains closed a bunch of locations, IMAX doesnt have a ton of locations. So those those locations are more likely to stay open when the investment for the tech is already there and can get higher prices in tickets (plus more of a destination for that experience I was talking about). Thats my thoughts at least. The difference between IMAX and a regular movie is kind of like the difference between going to a local bar with live music and if a well known band is playing there. For example, some movies are getting exclusive IMAX theater releases vs theaters simultaneously with On Demand. Of course they have the equipment aspect for it too. So IMAX is seen as an experience but also a way to shoot moreso than just a movie to go see or watch, which will help with the I can just watch it at home aspect of people not wanting to go pay for a ticket. The upcharge to go see IMAX sounds more appealing now because its getting out and doing something different that a lot of people dont regularly do or havent been able to. Lets say the big theater chains closed a bunch of locations, IMAX doesnt have a ton of locations. So those those locations are more likely to stay open when the investment for the tech is already there and can get higher prices in tickets (plus more of a destination for that experience I was talking about). Thats my thoughts at least. The difference between IMAX and a regular movie is kind of like the difference between going to a local bar with live music and if a well known band is playing there.
