They like to give you a few 'slaps on the wrist' that you can't appeal, or they just overturn your appeal without a reply... After a while, a whole bunch of little, insignificant, unwarranted moderations build up until you've got yourself an 'extensive mod history,' at which point they can justify suspending you for a week, 30 days, etc. just based on your 'repeated rule violations.'
