i won't get into it too much, but she's having some walking issues. her tendons in her calves are stiff and tight, which is making her hamstrings stiff and tight. she's going to need physical therapy once a week for... i have no idea how long. and it's expensive! that along with some specific daily stretching and exercises, and getting a toddler to do these things while already struggling with her normal routine has been a real bastard. anyone who has raised a kid knows toddler emotions are no joke.

i'm tired, you guys

I gave my first up for adoption. She had a lot of problems and was kind of a bitch, so me and the Mrs. said fuck it, got rid of her, and tried for another. The new one is way chiller. Much more cool to hang with.

I really hope I don't have that looming on my horizon. Please no. That sounds awful. Sorry to hear.

Sorry to hear but I'd say look towards the positive in that she has treatment options and will hopefully flourish through them. Hope for the best outcome and keep your focus on helping her reach milestones/goals. And don't forget to have fun!

Sorry to hear that, I hope the treatment is ideal and not too time consuming.

Sorry to hear that. Physical therapy is rough on adults and so I can't imagine how much tougher it is with someone who can't really understand why you are making them do something that is painful or uncomfortable.

I couldn't imagine PT at that age. A good therapist will know how to work with kids. When you are working with her at home try to make a game out of it and go with her mood. Good luck.
